The Daily Quilt is undergoing a change. For the last month I've been putting most of my energies into a new blog that will launch in about a month.

The new blog will be focusing on Texas (and some Oklahoma) historical sites and my travels to and research on them.

By now you know that I love history and research. The new blog will publish only a couple of times a week but will have much more information and pictoral documentation on the subjects it covers.

Untill then The Daily Quilt will only publish once or twice a week as well. It will transition to a little different format in the process.

I hope you will enjoy the changes and the new.

Cartoon Night

KNIGHTY KNIGHT BUGS

Since we have our own cartoon to watch tonight from the Oval Office, I thought I would start 1958's Academy Awards with the Best Cartoon Award.

The Award was won by Looney Tunes' KNIGHTY KNIGHT BUGS in which Bugs Bunny is a jester in King Arthur's court and Yosemite Sam is the Black Knight. (how appropriate!)

I couldn't find that particular cartoon but here is a collection of Bugs' and Yosemite clips that will ultimately be more enjoyable than tonight's performance by the other Black Knight.
